Listen Up!
Gumshen is long-time Seattle-based alternative rock band that fuses pop, progressive rock and electronica in a fun and unique fashion.
They are made up primarily of Ron Hippe (vox, keys, gtr) and Jan Ciganik (gtr), with various other artists filling in on vox, drums and bass over the years.
Jan grew up in Bratislava where it wasn't easy to find albums to listen to, but after studying music and finally making it to the U.S. (after a long and sometimes difficult journey), landed in the Grunge scene in Seattle.
Ron grew up in Seattle as a performer—singing and acting (appearing on Almost Live in the 80s), and continues to perform and teach across the country.
